And this show’s still going strong.
With all my heart,

I wanna make you smile whenever you’re sad
Carry you around when your arthritis is bad
Oh all I wanna do is grow old with you
I’ll get your medicine when your tummy aches
Build you a fire if the furnace breaks
Oh it could be so nice, growing old with you
I’ll miss you
Kiss you
Give you my coat when you are cold
Need you
Feed you
Even let ya hold the remote control
So let me do the dishes in our kitchen sink
Put you to bed when you’ve had too much to drink
I could be the man who grows old with you
I wanna grow old with you -
The god who stole, & gave in return
I once had someone I loved so much.
She was stolen from me when I was a girl - a teenager, in fact. Raging hormones, punk music and a sense of misdirection & apathy was the only thing that kept me going through those years - apart from the cold coffee and boys I briefly dated. Sometimes when I look back, I wonder how this tiny frame of mine could handle all that daily angst and emotional trauma that was fucking up every positively-charged, sunshiney happy-pill neuron that flew through my synapses..
Then I grew older, and found peace..Because of her.
You might have had someone too. Someone whose love you had for could match the span of the entire universe. They might have meant the world to you, of which you were too young and too scared to stay out of their sights, lest they lose grasp of you - or on the contrary, you lose grasp of them.
Here’s the truth - no matter who they are, they’ve all been through what you have.
Been there, done that. Veni, vidi, vici.
They’ve once had someone they held so dear to their hearts, and when that someone had to leave before they did, the grief they felt and the pain you feel right now draws an parallel of astoundingly similar proportions.
But hey, I’ll let you in on a secret: They survived. And they survived and when they passed on, they passed on that love to you. And you - you, beautiful, full of grace, the light and the prism bursting into a million different fragments of the colour spectrum - you have the ability to pass that love on. Do not waste it, for that love has been passed on for a hundred generations unto you - is now manifested in your physical form.
Because that’s how you honor the love of the loved ones lost. You keep living, you keep loving.
And if you ever run out of strength to hold that love, there’s someone you will meet who will give all his heart and soul, will and strength to help you carry that weight you’ve been holding for so long..
That’s the person that deserves to carry the love on, until he too, passes on.
I will always love you my bbkuma :),
Sincerely,
Y

Like a rainbow crash
As we bow and swirl
Been a million years full of tears
But I found my girl
Like exploding sun
Let the light unfurl
Been a million years full of fears
But I found my girl
SO CUTE BB!
